The following restaurants close to the hotel are our favourites in this mo ment. We have obviously checked them but the things could change, you know. They are not too expensive but remember well: the bill depends a tot by the wine you drink ! Wine, of course, is a way of life in Italy. Most restau­rants have their own house wine which is served in half or one litre carafes and is inexpensive and of a good quality generally. If you want a particular bottle, please ask the cost before. In most restaurants fresh fish is sold by kilo. Try to avoid the well recognizable tourist places and the veranda res­taurants on via Veneto. Follow your instinct and our suggestions too.

IL GIARDINO DI ALBINO

Restaurant sarde, cusine italienne, sure et savoureuse. Demandez-nous "il maialino" (cochon de lait fumè). Un guitariste joue des chansons napolitaines aprés 21 heures, parfois. Les garcons (Sergio, Daniele et Federico) sont très agréables. Déjeuner et diner. Fermé le dimanche. Réservation conseillée. Le propriétairae est notre bon ami M. Albino.

Via Francesco Crispi

Poisson frais et fruits de première saison. Pain maison, pates et desserts. Ingrédients traitionnels et innovations pleins d’immagination. Homard, crabes, huitre.  Un mosaïque de poisson cru et caviar. Et encore selection de viandes.

Le chef s’appelle Fabio Mancuso, membre de l’Equipe Nationale Italienne des Chefs.

LA SCALA

Au sommet de la via della Purificazione tourner à droite dans via degli Artisti et ensuite tourner à nouveau à droite. Cusine propre et lieu sur. Le propriétaire est Angelo de Cassino et son frère Enrico est souvent à la cusine pour vous. Tables à l'extérieur à partial du printemps. Réservation conseillée. Fermé le mardi.

GIRARROSTO FIORENTINO

Via Sicilia 46

Cusine traditionnelle et spécialités  fantastiques de la Toscane. Viande extraordinaire. Jamais fermée.
